Connor Malbeuf is a Canadian-born transplant living in Los Angeles, California. Connor's creative journey has led him to craft an eclectic range of films, spanning documentaries, TV specials, and music videos.

 

In 2020, he unveiled his feature-length political comedy documentary, 'One Week Til Doomsday,' which made its debut to critical acclaim. This film embarked on successful festival circuits, and premiered in Toronto and Tribeca. It reached a global audience in 2020 through platforms such as Apple TV and Amazon Prime Video, lauded for its emotionally charged exploration of the cost of American democracy and the indispensable role of political discourse.

The subsequent year marked a pivotal role for Connor as a producer for the Emmy® nominated 'Mark Twain Prize for American Humor,' featuring renowned talents like Jon Stewart, Pete Davidson, and Dave Chappelle. In 2023, Malbeuf directed the AT&T Pride Campaign, 'Connecting To Pride,' culminating in a full-length documentary spotlighting LGBTQ+ activists in Florida. 

 

Malbeuf's production prowess extended to an array of unscripted television hits, including 'Mariah Carey's Magical Christmas Special,' Laufey's Hollywood Bowl documentary concert film, the 2024 MTV VMA's and the Emmy® nominated Talk Series, 'John Mulaney Presents: Everybody's in LA.' 

 

His body of work remains distinguished for its compelling portrayal of vulnerable characters in pursuit of a more meaningful life, a narrative that resonates universally across diverse audiences.
